From the regression analysis shows that the working characteristics considered better predictors of the Recovery Needs relate to the relationship that the employee has with their duties and tasks (eg pace and workload) but also the ability perceived by the management of the same (eg independence on the job). Conclusions. The present study shows that the need for recovery is related to several psychosocial characteristics of the work environment, confirming the hypothesis that it could predict the recovery levels needed to workers knowing the magnitude of variables regarding demands and resources of the working environment.
