Abstract

[automatically translated] Target. The main objective of the study was to analyze the influence of a pelvic tilt on gait in adolescent subjects through the use of a force platform. Methods. The study involved 9 female subjects adolescents (12.33 ± 1.22 years), of which 6 with pelvic tilt. Results. In the upright position, the left foot bear a load, as a percentage of body weight, greater than the right foot (52.56 ± 3.78 vs 47.44% ± 3.78%, P <0.05), with the same surface support; in gait, subjects showed, for the same time supporting the individual feet to the ground, which reduces the load on the right foot from the left, considering the significant pressure on the ground (14.99 ± 12.65 vs 29.59 kg ± 7.21 kg; p <0.01) of all the plantar impression, associated with reduction of the support surface on the right foot (p <0.05) and the peak of maximum pressure (p <0.05). The influence of pelvic tilt on gait has been highlighted by the high correlation coefficients between the above parameters. Conclusions. The study confirms the influence of pelvic tilt on the support foot in the upright position and gait in subjects of female adolescents and the need for treatments aimed at correcting such diseases as a preventive measure.
