Abstract

This paper is founded on the luck and the imitations of Alda, latin elegiac comedywritten by William of Blois about 1169-1170, in latin and romance literaturesbetween XIIth and XIIIth century. Particulalry, after a general presentation of the comedy, the dissertation looks at some latin elegiac comedies (Baucis et Traso, De mercatore,Iacopo of Benevento’s De uxore cerdonis), some old french fabliaux of XIIIth(Douin de Lavesne’s Trubert, Jean Bodel’s Li sohaiz desvez, anonymous De la damoisele),and some Chrétien de Troyes’s and Robert of Blois’s romances (Yvain and Floriset Lyriopé). The last section of this paper is founded on the study of parodistic andanthropological elements in Alda, in its relationships with french short poem Audigier.
