Thanks to their specific peculiarities and to the high precision in the wear estimation and the speed of analysis, the two techniques are suitable to be used in power, both for analysis in the laboratory (where they are simple to apply the monoscopic techniques), both for high yield reliefs in situ by the installation of suitable equipment on diagnostic rolling stock (suitably equipped stereoscopic techniques), optionally in combination with the methods of auscultation of the binary traditionally used in the railway sector.
