Abstract

The paper highlights some reflections about the idea of "crossing" architecture through visual studies and dance theatre performances. In particular, the concept has been dealt making this "crossing of architecture" of the spatial composition of the Contemporary art Museum of Palermo, Palazzo Riso, filtering the space with the temporal rhythm of architecture and dance. The dance theatre performance started from a previous architectural moment, in Piazza Bologni, constitutes one of the two limits of the dancing path. The square is the moment of reflection, from the outside to the inside, in series of events giving shape to the act of "architectural crossing".
