Abstract

In past few years, information technology (IT) has maderapid progress, and IT culture is spreading among healthcareprofessionals. The National Center for BiotechnologyInformation (NCBI) located at the USA National Libraryof Medicine has contributed in a remarkable way to spreadthe use of bibliographic search systems activating andregularly updating a friendly interface as PubMed. Inparticular, PubMed is a search engine that searches Medlineand other databases for scientific literature citations.
