Abstract

The 2° cycle of the series Acta Curie Felicis Urbis Panormi, structured in six volumes, encompasses the periodo 1340-1410, and concerns the reigns of Peter, Ludwig and Martin the Younger, with a claer absence of documents from the reign of Frederick IV (1355-1377), coinciding with the affirmation of the power of the Chiaromontes. The interest of this cycle – and the whole series based on the registers of the collection Acts of the Senate in the Palermo Historical Archive – il linked to focalization of the history of Palermo at various levels: urbanistic, institutional, economic, social and cultural.
