studio FM, recalls the initials printed on the radio frequency modulation, but actually combines the initial letters of the names of Barbara Forni and Sergio Menichelli, the two founders of the study, born in 1996, plus Cristiano Bottino who joined them four years later. It is strange how the profession of graphic designers, clearly authorial and sometimes even distinctly self-referential, can embrace the logic of group work in which different personalities manage to strike a balance, not always easily achieved in a mixture always different, generated by variable proportions of individual contributions. I think that the absolute richness of the studio FM work lies precisely in their being different from each other, for training, attitudes and interests.
